Blustery In The West To A Full On Blizzard In East North Dakota
If you have travel plans to eastern North Dakota this Valentine's day a Blizzard Warning could impact your travel today and especially this evening.
A Blizzard Warning has been issued for extreme southeast North Dakota.
This includes the counties of Cass, Ransom, Sargent, and Richland. This includes the cities of Gwinner, Forman, Enderlin, and Fargo. 2 to 4 inches of snow could fall and peak wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour. This goes into effect at 6 pm tonight (February 14th) and runs until midnight. Travel could become very hazardous.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for parts of western and southwestern North Dakota.
This includes the counties of Golden Valley, Billings, and Slope. This includes the cities of Bowman, Beach, Medora, and Marmarth. 2 to 4 inches of snow are possible, and winds gusting 30 to 50 miles per hour could reduce visibilities. This Winter Weather Advisory is in effect now until 11 pm tonight.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for parts of eastern North Dakota.
This includes the counties of Barnes, Trail, Grand Forks, and Steele. This includes the cities of Grand Forks, Valley City, Mayville, and Hillsboro. This area could see up to two inches of snow and peak wind gusts up to 55 miles per hour. This Winter Weather advisory goes into effect at 6 pm tonight (February 14th) and runs until midnight. Travel could become difficult.
A Wind Advisory has been issued for much of central and southwest North Dakota.
This includes the counties of Burleigh, Kidder, Morton, Oliver, Grant, Sioux, and Emmons. This includes the cities of Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, Hazelton, Flasher, Elgin, Steele, Wing, and Sterling. Light snow developing this afternoon with about an inch of accumulation and winds gusting 30 to 50 miles per hour could reduce visibility at times.
