According to Bismarck State College, their enrollment is up 5% for the spring semester. Enrollement across the state of North Dakota is up 4.5%, Montana 5%, and Montana 7%. First time freshmen up 45%, fulltime students 1%, and part time students went up 8%. Nonetradional students age 35-49 up 12%, and students age 50-64 went up 32%.

The biggest enrollment programs were Petroleum Production Technology it went up by 56%, and Cybersecurity and Networking went up 43% which is up 156% since 2016. That's great for our area to have the local college getting an increase in students.

According to Karen Erickson, Dean of Enrollment Management, “We attribute these numbers to the tireless efforts of our faculty and staff, and to students’ increasing understanding of the affordability and lifetime economic opportunities that come with attending BSC whether to transfer on or earn a technical degree.”

Bismarck State College has 3,546 students which makes it the third largest college in the North Dakota University System. It's located at 500 Edwards Ave, Bismarck, ND 58506.
