Bismarck Police are asking for the community's help in locating a missing infant girl. LeahMae Dawn Morsette was discovered to be missing by police when they arrested her mother on June 24.

Around 6 p.m. police responded to a welfare check and LeahMae’s mother, Dawn,  couldn’t tell police where her daughter was. Police reported the baby missing around 9 p.m., and Dawn Morsette was arrested at that time on child neglect charges.

LeahMae is described as by police as a Native American girl with brown eyes and curly black hair just past her ears. She was believed to last be wearing a tan button-up onesie with shorts over the top or a magenta shirt with pink shorts. She is believed to be with a stroller that has a car seat attachment on top. She may also have a blue and silver diaper bag with a unicorn on it.

Police say video surveillance recovered near the 300 block of West Arbor Avenue at around 1 a.m. June 24 marks the last time the baby was seen.

Authorities have also identified a person of interest in LeahMae's disappearance. Bismarck Police said they have reason to believe Dawn Morsette may have left the infant with Cole Lee Pfaf, 31. Morsette and Pfaf's relationship, as well as Pfaf's location, are unknown to police at this time.

Police are asking for help from the community in resolving this issue. They are requesting anyone with video surveillance near the area or more photos of LeahMae to please share those items with police.
