As If Being A Viking Fan Isn't Bad Enough!  O-4 in the Super Bowl is pretty bad, but the Minnesota Twins are on a torrid playoff streak that could rival the Vikings.  The Twins have not one a single post season game since 2004...NOT ONE!  Yesterday's loss to the Astros continued that streak.  My question, does that put the Minnesota teams fan base in the discussion as the most despaired?

Think about it, if you only count the 4 core sports, it's not good.  The Vikes are o for 4 in the big game. The Twins can't win a playoff game, let alone a series since 2004.  The Wild...well they're the Wild and the their predecessor, the Stars, had to move to Dallas for a title.  Then there are the T'Wolves...Hahahahahaha!  See what I'm getting at?  As fans, are we Buffalo?

Volleyball: The top two teams in the WDA faced off yesterday as Century took their unbeaten record into Mandan. The Patriots beat the Braves in four sets. The Bismarck Demons hosted Williston and put away the Coyotes in straight sets.

Boys Soccer: Mandan fell to Jamestown 3-2 in the first round of the WDA Tournament and Dickinson beat Williston 6-1.

Serena Williams has withdrawn from the French Open prior to her second-round match today. Williams dropped out due to an Achilles injury. Her exit extends a Grand Slam drought since winning the 2017 Australian Open. The 23-time major champion, has been looking to tie the all-time record of 24.

The Tennessee Titans have closed their facilities until Saturday after three players and five team personnel members tested positive for the coronavirus. No official decision has been made about the Titans' game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Nashville, but the NFL wants and intends to have that game played as scheduled. The Minnesota Vikings, who played the Titans last Sunday have closed their facility indefinitely, though the team said there were no positive tests at this time.

The Twins lost to the Astros 4-1 in Round 1 of the AL playoffs, extending their consecutive loss streak to 16. The Twins have not won a post season game since 2004. They play again this afternoon at 12:08 on ESPN 2.
