Another beloved restaurant in North Dakota is set to close its doors for good.

In fact, we lost this same restaurant here in Bismarck back in April of 2023. These upscale restaurants are very well known for their fine dining. Their menu has a wide range of entries from filet mignon to mahi-mahi tacos.

They are also known for their extensive wine and martini list. Perhaps their signature food item is their very popular fried cheesy pickles. These pickles have even won awards.

Yep, this North Dakota restaurant is a true culinary delight. It's a great place to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries. If you wanted to impress a date or take a client out to dinner, this was the place.

Unfortunately, the "iconic" North Dakota restaurant we are set to lose is the Toasted Frog in Fargo.

The Toasted Frog is located in downtown Fargo at 305 Broadway North. According to KVRR TV in Fargo, North Dakota, the Toasted Frog is closing because one of its owners wants a lifestyle change and to spend more time with family.

It appears the Toasted Frog in Fargo will close for good at the end of June of this year.

The original Toasted Frog is in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and that restaurant will continue to operate. The Fargo Toasted Frog opened in December of 2014 after the success of its Grand Forks location predecessor.

I know the Toasted Frog was very popular in Bismarck as well, and there were a lot of disappointed and shocked customers after its closure.
