Allegiant air has announced they will be adding a flight from Grand Forks to Nashville on October 17th, 2021.  The game is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. in Bridgestone Arena, home of the Nashville Predators.  The game was originally scheduled for this past October 2020, but was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.  The 17,159 seat Bridgestone Arena is already completely sold out for the United States Hall of Fame Hockey game.

According to an article in the Grand Forks Herald, this will be a one time, direct flight from Grand Forks to Nashville for fans planning to attend UND's United States Hockey Hall of Fame game against Penn State scheduled for this October.  The Allegiant flight is scheduled to leave Grand Forks for Nashville on Thursday and return Sunday.

The game is already sold out, so make sure you have tickets before you buy your airline tickets.  UND officials are hoping to add more flights from Grand Forks to Nashville to meet the demand.  They're working with other carriers to try to add more flights with the expected heavy demand.  Allegiant will also be adding a non-stop flight from Fargo to Nashville full-time this summer which will run on Thursday's and Sunday's that will be an option for UND hockey fans well.  Nobody travels better in college hockey than UND fans.
