The Wheels On The Bus Go Round & Round

While the wheels on the bus do go round, and I'm sure the vehicle is (mostly) operational... would you really want to drive this thing?

Maybe you would! Maybe it's nostalgic, and brings you fond memories of childhood. -- Not me; I had braces and glasses and was not with the "In" crowd. To put it into perspective, the "Cool" kids always sit in the back, right? You would find me at the furthest seat in the front. I digress...

At Least It's Not Yellow

They painted this 1970's Chevrolet bus white-ish tan, and even turned the interior into a camper. It comes with a sink, bathroom, kitchen table, and even has some closets and cupboard space. If that doesn't sell it for you, the owner has offered to throw in $250 worth of new cushions. The owner also notes that the previous owner smoked, so do with that what you will. It also needs brakes.

Things To Consider:

While you might look at this and think, "Wow, $2500 isn't bad for a camper," let's not forget you're driving a bus. You'll make quite a bit of noise driving this thing around town, so if you don't like to be the center of attention, I wouldn't recommend making this investment. Also, there's not a lot of privacy on this thing. As you know, buses are full of windows. Yikes. And I won't even get into the gas prices issue. We know.

Bumps & Bruises

As I recall, school buses are notoriously bumpy. It was even a game for kids to get bounced out of their seats. It wasn't a proper trip to school without us trying to concuss ourselves on the ceiling.

Imagine eating your bowl of cereal in the morning... it's early, you haven't even had your coffee yet, you're not quite awake and/or ready to face the world, you hit a bump, and BOOM. -- You're wearing your lactose-free milk and Fruit Loops. It's a no for me.

Serious Question:

Is this the same bus that was once painted matte-black and would park in the South Walmart parking lot? Do you know what I'm talking about? The creepy black bus?

Anyway,

The bus is being sold on the BisMan Online Garage Sale Facebook page to anyone who's interested.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
