Wearing Cloth Face Masks Will Be The New Norm In BisMan

As I drove downtown this afternoon at lunch, I observed a police officer with a mask, several people walking down street with cloth masks and a couple of nurses as well.  This will be the new norm as we continue to fight COVID-19 in North Dakota.

As of right now, it's a "recommendation" from the Center for Disease Control, (CDC) and Custer Health in Mandan is also recommending that most individuals wear a cloth face covering while in public settings.  Especially, where other social distancing measures are difficult.

Now this doesn't mean you have to run out to a store and purchase one.  You can simply make one out of a bandanna or other cloth items.  As long as it covers your mouth and nose.  I have a camouflage face mask that I use for hunting that should work well for me.  You can see it in the picture above.  According to CNET here's how you can make a cloth mask from home.    

Again, this is a "recommendation" as of right now, but in some cities across the country you can be ticketed.  Better start thinking about it.
