Unveiling The Winner Of North Dakota’s Cutest Couple Contest

Our annual Cutest Couple in all of North Dakota contest came down to the wire once again.

Voting wrapped up at 11:59 pm Sunday night (February 16th) and as of Sunday afternoon 5 of our Sweet 16 couples were very much in the race to win.

Over 20,000 votes were cast over the last week and a half.

The couple that was in the lead for a good share of that time were Linda and Jack Gillespie (couple #13). They were a fan favorite from the beginning. Their enduring photo of the two holding hands while riding horses captured the hearts of so many of our fans.

However, when the smoke cleared the Gillespies fell off over the last few hours, as another couple that had been hanging around inside the top 5 came screaming out of nowhere to win the title.

These were the Top 5 in our Cutest Couple in North Dakota competition:

#5 Zachary Bertolotto and Sydney Faller with 8.08% of the vote.

#4 Dru Kautzmen and Bridger Owens with 8.18% of the vote.

#3 Daniel West and Kassie Fisher with 10.58% of the vote.

#2 Linda and Jack Gillespie with 12.94% of the vote (They led most of the voting period).

And, the winner is...#1 Jurni Erickson and Jade Erickson with 18.12% of the vote. Congratulations to our winning couple and that was a beautiful picture. Here's what the Erickson's win.
