Is there a better smell in the world than walking into a good bakery?

There really should be a car air freshener for such a smell. Everything from ooey gooey caramel rolls, cinnamon rolls, donuts, cupcakes, and pies, to freshly baked bread. It's all so good!

Just talking about this makes my blood sugar rise and makes me want to do a donut run or better yet, a caramel roll run. That even has a good ring to it. Nothing like becoming the hero of your workplace when you arrive with treats.

We have some great bakeries around the state, and as it turns out, a good share of them are in pretty small towns.

I recently asked my listeners on air, on our social media pages, and on our app, "What is the BEST BAKERY in the state of North Dakota?"

I received several hundred responses and I decided to tabulate the votes and unveil the 8 best in North Dakota. We received votes for over 25 different bakeries in the Peace Garden State.
