Hospitals are a BIG Part of Life and Death

As someone who recently underwent surgery, knowing you are in experienced hands is reassuring. Today's hospitals are not only plugged into the latest technology, but also in how their staff interacts with patients, which makes a world of difference to the confidence you have in the hospital. Experience matters, right? Especially when it comes to your health.

North Dakota Hospitals Ranked by Experience

We are pretty lucky here in Bismarck, as we have TWO hospitals that rank in the top 5 when it comes to a new article from Newsweek and one of them is number ONE in the state. That is some pretty good news when it comes to being in good hands when it matters the most. As somebody who recently went through a health crisis with my mother, it can be a daunting process when you navigate the healthcare system.

Methodology used for these Hospital Rankings

Newsweek teamed up with Statista and analyzed 700 of the leading hospitals at the state level to identify the most trusted medical facilities across each state. The rankings were compiled using quality metrics from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Annual Survey of Hospitals Database, results from patient surveys, and a voluntary patient-reported outcome measures survey.

North Dakota's Top 5 Hospitals Ranked

5. Altru Hospital - Grand Forks

4. CHI St. Alexius Health - Bismarck

3. Essentia Health - Fargo

2. Sanford Broadway Medical Center

1. Sanford Medical Center Bismarck

Again, we are pretty fortunate to have not one, but two of our hospitals ranked so high in North Dakota. It's good to be in good hands.
