DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) — More than 4,000 people took part in a weekend ice fishing tournament on Devils Lake.

WDAZ-TV reports that the event raised about $150,000 for the city's volunteer fire department, which hosts the annual event. The tournament has been held for 31 years.

More than 100 volunteers drilled about 5,000 holes in the ice Saturday morning for the anglers who come from around the region to compete.

Kolby Metzger of Hazen won top prize for perch, Randy Reiter of Surrey caught the biggest northern and Travis Crissler of Belcourt landed the biggest walleye. All three men took home $2,000.
