The Most Underrated City In North Dakota
I love hitting the streets on my motorcycle with no real destination. I have found so many cute and interesting little towns and communities. With summer just around the corner, many of us will hit the roads to find whatever we can in our state.
We turn to Thrillist, they recently published a list of the most underrated city in every state. How did they come up with this list? They gave the question to dozens of writers and travelers and they produced a list and city for every state.
You really do not have travel far in any direction to find some unique and fun towns in North Dakota.
The spot making the Thrillist list is Devils Lake. Located in the Northwestern portion of North Dakota, it's true, Devils Lake is adorable. There is so much to do and see.
They have great fishing, and the downtown area has 20 national register buildings in three square blocks, all built between 1884 and 1915. You'll find one-of-a-kind shops and unique shopping.
Fort Totten is located in Devils Lake and is reportedly haunted.
Devils Lake is worth a day trip or a weekend get-away.
