Have you ever thought about running away and moving to some town where nobody knows your name?

North Dakota has plenty of options if you want lots of wide-open spaces, and you can probably do it significantly cheaper than the four bigger cities in the state (Fargo, Bismarck, Minot, and Grand Forks).

An article caught my eye recently from Hauzeo, 'The 10 Cheapest Places to Live in North Dakota for 2025".

The methodology for compiling the data for this list was based on the North Dakota real estate market, median home value, median house rent, and cost of living. It was then broken down into three categories for families, for young adults, and for retirees.

The article goes on to boast that North Dakota has cheaper homes, affordable utilities, and better jobs.

No doubt, living in a small town in North Dakota could be significantly cheaper, that's if you can find a job.

Maybe you can work remotely, or you are ready to retire. Then these 10 towns in North Dakota might be an attractive option for you.

Many of them are scenic little towns and have the added benefit of lots of outdoor recreational opportunities. Small town living isn't for everyone, but if you want to live on the cheap, it might be something you might want to look into.

With that being said, let's take a peek at "The 10 Cheapest Places to Live in North Dakota for 2025."
