Taylor Swift is set to receive a very special honor at the 2019 American Music Awards. The awards will honor the country-turned-pop superstar with the Artist of the Decade honor during the 2019 ceremony.

ABC and Dick Clark Productions announced the news on Wednesday (Oct. 30), Billboard reports. Swift is also set to perform the biggest hits from across her career during the live broadcast.

Swift has won 23 American Music Awards — more than any other female artist in music history. She is nominated for Artist of the Year, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Female Artist - Pop/Rock, Favorite Album - Pop/Rock and Favorite Artist - Adult Contemporary in 2019 for her work on her most recent smash album, Lover. She has only to win two of the five categories in which she's nominated to overtake Michael Jackson as the most-awarded artist in the history of the awards.

“Taylor’s impact on music this decade is undeniable and her performances on the American Music Awards have been truly spectacular,” Dick Clark Productions Executive Vice President of Programming & Development Mark Bracco says in a press release. “We’re thrilled to honor her as our Artist of the Decade and can’t wait for her to blow everyone away with an epic, career-spanning performance unlike any other!”

The 2019 American Music Awards are set to air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on ABC on Sunday, Nov. 24. Tracee Ellis Ross will host the event.

Luke Combs and Dan + Shay head up the country artists who are nominated in 2019 with three nods each. Combs received a nomination in the all-genre category of New Artist of the Year as well as two country nominations.

Kane Brown and Carrie Underwood each earned two AMA nominations in 2019, while Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus garnered several nods for their "Old Town Road" collaboration in non-country categories.

Voting in all categories is now open at the AMAs website through Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 11:59:59PM PT.
