Winter Weather

Here we go again, The National Weather Service is busy at work- The Bismarck-Mandan area has a couple weather statements issued by the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a BLIZZARD WARNING through Saturday afternoon as the area will experience an arctic clipper moving through quickly Friday, that will drop temperatures, bring gusty winds and will result in drifting and blowing snow.

The start of the New Year kicks off with very cold weather start. It is not often The National Weather Service uses the tern LIFE THREATENING and when they do it catches our attention.

Ice and snow were the cause of this accident on I94 at the Missouri River Bridge East this morning at 10:15 AM, with injuries being reported.

Mother Nature is going to play havoc with holiday travel through the woods to grandmother's house you may NOT go.

The snow has started to fall in the state. The Fargo area has already started to break out snow plows on the highways in the area and locally, the trucks have started to lay  sand and ice solvent to area roadways. Locally, the Bismarck-Mandan area can expect to receive up to 6 inches of snow according to NOAA...

The National Weather Service issued several storm warnings and advisories for the listening area in the past 72 hours.
