Another windy day is expected today for the Bismarck-Mandan area. The National Weather Service has extended the WIND ADVISORY until 7 PM Sunday. This advisory was to expire at 7 PM Saturday evening. Expect strong gusty Southeast winds as a system moves through the area, according to The National Weather Service in Bismarck. This is the same system bring tornados and severe weather to the Midwest and South US.

The NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE has issued a WIND ADVISORY for the area as winds will increase this afternoon.
