PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Oregon marijuana stores have begun sales to recreational users, marking a big day for the budding pot industry in the state and elsewhere in the nation.
Democratic Rep. Pam Anderson, a Freshman lawmaker from Fargo, has introduced a bill into the North Dakota Legislature that would allow for the use of marijuana to treat certain medical conditions.
In a memo released Thursday (12/11), the US Department of Justice has opened the door for Tribal Governments to decide on the legalization of marijuana on Tribal lands - could this open the door to legalization of the drug in North Dakota?
