Southwest North Dakota Gets In On The “Let’s Go Brandon” Craze
The "Let's Go Brandon" craze was just lifted to a new level in southwest North Dakota. These pictures were sent to me by a deer hunter over the weekend. This display is set up between Dickinson and New England on highway 22 south.
In case you're unfamiliar with the "Let's Go Brandon" phenomenon, its origins began back in September of this year. According to Wikipedia, it's a political statement against Joe Biden. What it really means is "F*** Joe Biden.
So, what about the "Let's Go Brandon" aspect. Why is that code for "F*** Joe Biden? It all happened at a NASCAR race when NBC Sports reporter Kelli Stavast incorrectly described the chant by spectators at the race as "Let's Go Brandon" during her interview with Brandon Brown, a NASCAR driver in early October. Ever since then, this became the new "F*** Joe Biden chant.
It's been chanted at Bismarck Bobcats games, both versions. Now, the "Let's Go Brandon" has become more than just something a crowd shouts. It's on billboards, even here in Bismarck. You can read about that here. It's on t-shirts, baseball caps, and even on cranes?!
Some unnamed source(s) decided to dress up a crane south of Dickinson, North Dakota with an American flag, a Trump 2024 flag, a red-headed skeleton, and of course a bright red "Let's Go Brandon" sign.
Here's a look at the pictures.
