SHOCKING: North Dakota’s Most Searched Plastic Surgery Procedure

It seems like plastic surgery is a common practice for both men and women these days.

Nothing wrong with a little nip-tuck right? Speaking of nip-tuck, remember the raunchy show of the same name, that followed a couple of plastic surgeons around back in the early 2000s? I believe it was on FX and it wasn't a show you would watch with your mother.

While some aging adults opt for creams and serums to look more youthful, others prefer going under the knife and a more permanent solution. The problem is, in many cases, you look worse after some of these procedures.

For example. lip injections just look silly to me in most cases. You end up looking like a Largemouth Bass.

Another plastic surgery procedure that looks less than natural in my opinion is eyelid surgery. Often times you look more like a statue than a real person. Heavy botox injections can have the same effect.

I ran across a map on Facebook from Usa Thoughts on "The Most Searched Plastic Surgery Procedure in each state.

It was pretty interesting, to say the least. The map showed that these searches highlight regional beauty trends and cultural influences on cosmetic preferences.

Like the Midwest, where it seems that men are consumed with getting a penis enlargement. No comment here.

The northeast is pretty split between laser hair removal and liposuction.

The southeast is also focused on liposuction. What a coincidence, some of those states have the highest obesity rates.

Meanwhile, the southwest part of the country is into lip injections and breast implants.

The Northwest part of the country is hell-bent on breast implants.

And finally, the northern Great Plains states, including South Dakota and Minnesota are interested in eyelid surgery, except for us in North Dakota.

Nope, the Peace Garden State went in a whole different direction when it came to plastic surgery procedures. It makes you wonder what exactly is going on down there.

We are the only state in the country where this cosmetic surgery procedure was searched the most. Like I said previously, makes you wonder what's going on down there. No judgment on my part.
