Call it a quick getaway or a stay-cation, here are a few cabins you can find for rent on a few websites, and you won;t have to travel far.

Of course, you knew Madora would be on this list. We found this beauty on Homeaway.com, it sleeps 6, 2 bedroom, one bath with views you will never forget.

Who would have ever thought you'd find a beautiful cabin in Watford City through Air BnB.   You can see Mountain Ridge Luxury Cabins, that sit on 40 acres of land and they have several cabins to choose from that can accomadate up to 2 people with kitchen and full bath facilities.

The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department has many cabins at various parks for rent. You'll enjoy the peace and serenity at Beaver Lake State Park, where they have three cabins for rent. Not to mention all of the other offerings at the state park.

Most of these rentals are near or just above $100 per night, but by the views and the memories you'll make, seems like a very reasonable price.

Think of it as 'roughing it' with air conditioning, full kitchen and bath, heat and shelter. That's my kind of roughing it.
