The Scheels Glow Up

One of the most popular retail stores in Bismarck-Mandan is in the process of expanding in the Kirkwood Mall, and it's nearing completion. Here's a sneak peek at a couple of new features at Scheels.

If you are a jerky guy or gal like myself, this is right up my alley. I know I have to stock up with some fishing supplies at Scheels before the July 4th holiday, and I will definitely be making a stop at that Jerky station. The new Candy Corner looks like it would make Willy Wonka jealous. If you've got a sweet tooth (and who doesn't), this will be a must-stop for you.

Construction has been underway for months at Scheels to create a bigger and better shopping experience. Scheels is located at 800 Kirkwood Mall in Bismarck, North Dakota.

What to Expect with the Scheels Expansion

When I spoke with the Scheels Store Manager, Wray Wright, a few months back, he was so excited about the new and exciting things coming to his store, including more space, which is a win-win for both shoppers and Scheels. Scheels will be getting more storage space, and they will be offering a bigger space that will benefit the youth, footwear, the toy shop, boys' and girls' clothing, and, of course, the candy and jerky space.

How Much More Space?

Store leader Wray Wright told me they will be adding 6,000 additional retail space for its customers, which will be a significant update.

Completion Date?

Wright told me they were hoping for a July 1st completion date. It looks like it is all coming together for Scheels. It won't be long, and we will be talking about back-to-school shopping. In the meantime, enjoy your 4th of July holiday, and I know where I will be gearing up before I head out to the lake.
