Just about all of North Dakota saw soaking rains over the weekend and some areas really needed it. Drought conditions persist over much of the northern half of the state. In fact, here's the latest drought monitor map that was just released late last week for North Dakota.
It's kind of a departure from normal, where typically southwest North Dakota is battling drought.
