Have you ever caught something you couldn't explain in a photo or video before? I occasionally catch the TV Show "Paranormal Caught on Camera" on the Travel Channel, and let me tell you, there are some pretty compelling cases. From shadowy figures to full-blown apparitions. Sure, some of these are simply hoaxes or videos that have been tampered with by AI, but they can't all be fake, can they? Objects being thrown or moved in an empty room, to lights in the sky, you just can't explain.

Orbs Showing Up in Videos

What are they, and how did they end up in a video or photograph? There is usually a scientific explanation for orbs. They are most often the result of something called photographic backscatter. This means that light from a camera's flash or infrared light reflects off airborne particles such as dust, pollen, moisture, or insects close to the lens.

However, orbs in the paranormal community are often believed to be spirit guides, angels, or the energy of deceased loved ones. Speaking of a deceased loved one, that is what one family in Bismarck believes they are seeing in this video. Check it out below.

A Grandfather Reaching Out From Beyond the Grave?

I received this video from a listener recently, who asked not to be identified, but they recently lost their grandfather. The evening after the funeral, they received an alert on their phone from their Blink home camera. After reviewing the footage, they were convinced this was their grandfather reaching out to them just hours after burying him, as they had never had anything like this show up on their camera before.

What do you think? Paranormal or scientifically explainable? At the very least, it certainly is a coincidence considering what the family just went through.
