One Of Sharks From Shark Tank Is Coming To North Dakota

One of my family's favorite TV shows is Shark Tank.

I can't tell you how many times we have said something like, "We need to take this idea to Shark Tank". Yep, we are always trying to come up with the next big invention or idea that could make us millions.

Shark Tank has been around on TV for a while now.

According to Wikipedia, it debuted on ABC back in August of 2009, and it has been a staple series for the network. Shark Tank can be seen locally on WDAY TV in Bismarck. The show can also be seen on CNBC in syndication.

Did you know that about 20% of the handshake deals seen on the show from entrepreneurs and the investors (Sharks) never materialize? Usually, because of the Sharks' due diligence after further examining the contestants' business and personal financials.

The 5 main Sharks who appear on Shark Tank Weekly are:

Robert Herjavec, Barbara Corcoran, Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Daymond John, and Kevin O'Leary. One of them is about to come speak at a University right here in North Dakota.

He's a Shark that has already invested in the state of North Dakota, and he's looking for new investment opportunities. Maybe I have a shot yet with one of my ideas?

None other than Kevin O'Leary, the CEO of O'Leary Ventures, will be speaking at the University of Mary.

Kevin will be at the Lumen Vitae Center on the U of Mary campus on Tuesday, April 15th.
