Radco on the strip in Mandan was closed for about a year.

"Radco at 4018 Memorial Highway in Mandan, North Dakota was temporarily closed."  That was according to the official Radco website.

As it turns out, it was indeed a temporary closure. The store has now been open for close to two months. It reopened in October of 2024, according to the store manager who I spoke to today.

He told me, "I had a lot of dust to remove when it started back up".  I asked the manager why they temporarily closed in the first place.

I was wondering if it had something to do with the continuing problem we seem to have in the Capital Region when it comes to finding people willing to work.

He implied that was the case, also they had just lost their store manager which may have factored into the decision to close the store temporarily.

As it turned out, the closing wasn't so temporary, as Radco in Mandan was closed for about a year.

In case you're wondering what is a Radco store?  They sell interior and exterior truck accessories.  Toppers, bed liners, floor mats, etc. Some of the brands they offer include products from WeatherTech, LEER, Thule, Luverne, Putco, and others.

I am in the market for deer guard and fender flairs so I decided to stop in. It's good to have them back open. I had a feeling they would eventually open since the store remained full of inventory while it was closed.

I stopped by the store, just down the street on the strip from us here at Townsquare Media to take a look myself several times over the last year to see if anything had changed at the store.

This Radco in Mandan hasn't been open all that long.

They just opened their doors for the first time back in January of 2020. Again, it's good to have them back.
