Something is Brewing Next Week

I'm a weather nerd, and I spend a lot of time watching the Weather Channel while I'm on air each weekday. They have been hinting at a potential winter event that could impact the Northern Plains next week for a couple of days now. Both the Euro and American weather models have been showing the potential for significant snow across our state, especially in the southern half. Even a couple of areas that could see double digits. YIKES!

The Bismarck Bubble's Take

Our friends at the Bismarck Bubble concur that something is going to happen next week. Even the National Weather Service in Bismarck is showing snow chances starting next Tuesday. We are definitely heading into an active weather pattern next week. Obviously, this far out, determining whether this will be a shovable event or more rain is very hard to predict. Here's what the Bismarck Bubble is saying at this point.

I think this pretty much sums it up, "rain, snow, chaos, all on the table". April Fools may have a whole new meaning this year in North Dakota.

The good news? Get ready for a warmer weekend coming our way. 50s, 60s, and even the wind should behave. Just don't put those shovels away quite yet.
