North Dakota's Tigirlily Gold is celebrating an engagement.

Krista Slaubaugh announced on the Tigirlily Gold Facebook page that she is now engaged to fellow country singer Walker Montgomery, who is the son of John Michael Montgomery.

The "I Tried a Ring On" moment happened on Monday, May 26th.

According to an article from People, the special moment took place in the very scenic Blue Ridge Mountain Forests in North Carolina.

Montgomery had planned this engagement for months and wanted everything to be perfect. He walked her down to a dock on a small pond and got down on one knee. Krista accepted the engagement, and she now has a big rock on her finger.

Ironically, the "I Tried a Ring On" video features Krista from Tigirlily Gold in a love story with a not-so-happy ending. Much like her real-life engagement, it is also set by a scenic pond.

All of us in North Dakota will get a chance to see this ring on her finger in person when Tigirlily Gold plays ND Country Fest for the first time on Thursday, July 10th, as Tigirlily Gold will open for Cole Swindell.

Congratulations to Krista, and we can't wait to see you and Kendra soon.
