Carly Pearce must have decided enough is enough at WE Fest.

As somebody who has been an MC for everything from wedding dances to large concerts with 20,000-plus people, I've dealt with a few hecklers before.  So, I can relate to what occurred with Carly Pearce at WE Fest this past Friday, August 2nd.

Believe me, I certainly wanted to say what she said on stage Friday night before.  I have just never dared to.  Anytime you mix a large crowd with alcohol, you will encounter jerks.

Dealing with rude, drunk people just goes with the territory when you are a performer and it's not for people with thin skin or faint of heart.

Here's the video from Friday night and what Carly Pearce said to this WE Fest goer.

So, what exactly did the fan say to set off Carly Pearce?

We may never know for sure. Just before the exchange, Carly Pearce was on the mic and made the comment "I want to tell you all a little bit about me."

A screenshot was sent to me by somebody who asked that question to a member of security.  After Carly Pearce made that statement, a guy in the crowd yelled "No one cares".

That's what set off Pearce and caused her to remove the guy from the crowd.

If that is true, (again, we may never know for sure and there could be a lot more to it) it seems a little harsh.

Here's what Carly Pearce had to say to the crowd about the verbal altercation a little bit later in the show.

Maybe the heat was getting to Carly Pearce? She looks like she had a pretty good sunburn going on. Maybe there was a lot more to it, and the guy got exactly what he deserved. One thing is for sure, don't mess with Carly Pearce.
