Most of the state of North Dakota is in a Level 2 for impactful severe weather today.

Of course, today will mark the one-week anniversary, which some weather officials are saying was a once-in-a-lifetime storm. North Dakota saw numerous tornadoes, straight-line winds that reached the status of a category three hurricane, and four people lost their lives.

The good news for today is that the potential for severe weather has dropped a bit to 40 percent. The fog we are experiencing right now (we are currently in a dense fog advisory until 10 am) could delay the development of thunderstorms across the state and the severe potential.

What are the potential impacts of this severe weather event?

Here's what the National Weather Service in Bismarck is saying for potential impacts.
