The Norsk Hostfest in Minot, North Dakota has announced its first major act.

No, it's not a musical act but a legendary comedian and former late-night talk host.  According to a press release, it's none other than comedy legend and former host of NBC's The Tonight Show.

Jay Leno will be taking the stage on Friday, September 29th.  The show will begin at 1 pm in the Great Hall of the Vikings.

The comedy legend and former host of NBC’s The Tonight Show Jay Leno will be taking the stage on Friday, September 29th. The show will begin at 1 pm in the Great Hall of the Vikings. Norsk Høstfest is thrilled to welcome the American icon to the festival!

 Jay Leno’s late-night television ratings domination included two decades as the host of the #1-rated “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” after the first two years, Jay Leno never lost a single ratings year in which he served as host.

 Leno currently produces and is the host of the CNBC primetime series Jay Leno's Garage now in its seventh season. The new season premieres Wednesday, September 7 on CNBC.  “Jay Leno’s Garage” explores the world of cars, never forgetting that it’s the people behind the wheel who provide the real stories.

 About Norsk Hostfest

Norsk Hostfest is held annually in the fall in the North Dakota State Fair Center on the North Dakota State Fairgrounds in Minot, North Dakota. The festival was founded in 1978 by the late Chester Reiten and a group of friends who shared his interest in celebrating their Nordic heritage.

The festival, now entering its 44th year, will be held from September 27th through the 30th, 2023. It has grown into North America’s largest Scandinavian festival with tens of thousands of people attending from all over the world. The festival features world-class entertainment, authentic Scandinavian cuisine, Scandinavian culture on display, and handcrafted Norsk merchandise.
