New Business Alert:

Bismarck is getting a pretty popular restaurant that caters to breakfast lovin' people.  According to sources close to the situation, this national breakfast chain has restaurants all across the country and the world is about to set up shop in Bismarck.

According to Wikipedia, this chain has 1,841 locations across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, and Guatemala.  They also have locations in the Middle East and South Asia.

Many of their locations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but the chain's minimum operating hours are 7 am to 10 pm.

Although the focus of this restaurant chain is breakfast, they also offer lunch and dinner menus.

This restaurant currently has two locations already in North Dakota.

One is in Fargo and the other location is in Grand Forks.  Bismarck will be the 3rd location in our state with rumors of possible others opening up.

This restaurant purchased land up north near Costco years ago, but it appears they are finally ready to start building.  We don't have an exact date of when, but it's expected to be some time yet this year.

The new breakfast joint coming to Bismarck is none other than the International House of Pancakes, otherwise known as IHOP.

I see according to their website, that some locations are now serving beer, sangrias, and mimosas.

I must say, as somebody who moved here from Grand Forks several years ago, IHOP's waffles are to die for.  I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Let's just hope they can find people that want to work.
