Mandan: New Restaurant Has Taken The Old Grand Junction Spot

New Blood on The Strip

A new restaurant has taken up the space formerly held by Grand Junction on the Strip in Mandan. Grand Junction closed about a year ago, and according to one of their managers at the time, the closure was blamed in part on the never-ending road construction, which is finally making some progress on Memorial Highway in Mandan. Our studios were also located on the Strip, and we know firsthand what a nightmare that construction was. Thankfully, many of the businesses are starting to see some normalcy after the construction took over. It really affected their bottom line, including ours, and we have since moved to new studios in Mandan.

Introducing Chopsticks & Fries

I stopped by this new restaurant for lunch today and grabbed a burger (it was good). This is a rather unique restaurant, combining Japanese foods like sushi, sashimi, and nigiri with American comfort food like burgers, fries, chicken, and pasta. Me, not being someone who only likes his fish cooked like a walleye, I had to pass on the sushi.

Chopsticks & Fries also offers boba teas and specialty teas. The employees on duty told me some of the popular menu items right now include the Hollywood Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll. Chopsticks and Fries has been open for a couple of weeks.

Hours of Operation

Monday through Saturday, 11 am to 2 pm and then reopens for the evening from 4:30 pm to 9 pm. They are CLOSED on Sundays. You can find them at 4524 Memorial Highway, Mandan, Suite 108. You can reach them by phone at 70-751-1889. They offer dine-in, take-out, and even delivery.
