New Gas Station/Travel Plaza Setting Up Shop East Of Bismarck

A new gas station/travel plaza known for its cheaper gas prices will open just east of Bismarck.

According to KFYR TV, Sterling, North Dakota will be getting a new Love's Travel Stop right at the intersection of Highway 83 and Interstate 94. Sterling, North Dakota, is 29 miles east of Bismarck.

This will be much more than just a gas station. According to the article, it will also have a Subway, a God Father's Pizza, a Love's Fresh Kitchen with numerous food options, RV Parking, and even a dog park.

North Dakota currently has four Love's Travel Stop's in the state.

They are located in Williston, Drayton, Fargo, and Valley City, North Dakota. I mentioned that Love's Travel Stops are known for cheaper gas prices. As an example, Love's is currently at $ 2.84 a gallon at its Fargo, North Dakota location.

I've also noticed the Valley City location is consistently cheaper than other gas stations in that community by a dime to a nickel less. Valley City's Love's is currently at $2.99 a gallon.

Love's Travel Stop will be competing against Tri Energy's Cenex Gas Station in Sterling, North Dakota.

That station is located on the southwest side of Interstate 94 and Highway 83 interchange.

This new Love's will definitely give more options for I-94 travelers and residents in the Sterling, McKenzie, Driscoll, Moffit, and Wing areas.

According to the article, construction work is expected to begin this spring, with a potential opening this fall.

As somebody who spends a lot of time in this area each spring and fall hunting and fishing, I am looking forward to this new business.
