New Business In Mandan Hopes To “Amplify” Athletes
New Business Alert: The city of Mandan has a new workout/training facility.
Co-owner Jenny Unruh recently posted a thread on her Facebook page explaining her new adventure.
As you can see by Jenny's post she was not expecting this to happen in her life. Usually, good things come unexpectedly, right? Jenny Unruh is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.
The name of her new business venture is called "Amplified Athletics".
They are currently accepting new clients for personal training, group training, and nutrition services. Unruh is very excited to work with the communities of Mandan, Bismarck, Lincoln, and our surrounding towns.
Amplified Athletics has set up shop at 3950 21st Street Southeast #713 in Mandan, North Dakota. They have been open now for about a month.
The mission of Amplified Athletics according to their Facebook page is to educate and support athletes of all ages through proper nutrition, training techniques, and programming in relation to their specific sport or activity.
I found one of their posts very interesting on the Amplified Athletics Facebook page concerning how much water you should drink. Something I'm pretty religious about myself. I try to get my 8, 8-ounce glasses each day (64 ounces).
Apparently, that number is old school. The new benchmark is you should drink 1/2 your body weight in water each day. So, if you weigh 150 pounds you should drink 75 ounces each day. So, we need to drink even more water than previously thought to remain hydrated and healthy.
Amplified Athletics is available by phone at (701) 202-6072.
