This afternoon, President Donald Trump declared a national emergency due to rising concerns with COVID-19. This declaration has already affected North Dakota basketball as well as other sports in the state. Check out the information on tournament and spring sports suspension/cancellation information below.

In light of the president's declaration, the North Dakota High School Activities Association (NDHSAA) has suspended the basketball tournaments that are taking place in Fargo this weekend. Effective, immediately, the Class A boys and girls tournaments in Fargo have been suspended. Next week's Class B boys' state tournament in Bismarck and all spring sports seasons have also been suspended.

According to the Grand Forks Herald, all remaining fines arts are cancelled as well. We will keep information updated as it becomes available. There is a refund process regarding the Class A state tournaments and the Class B state tournaments. This information will be communicated to ticket holders at a later time on ndhsaanow.com.
