North Dakota’s NEW Most Popular Color Of Vehicle Hands Down
Have you noticed a big shift in what color of vehicles people are buying these days?
I know I have. This color started really showing up late in 2024 in Bismarck-Mandan, and now just about every parking lot in the city is full of vehicles in this color.
Now, I don't have any statistics to prove this is the new most popular color of vehicle in the state or for the country, for that matter, but I'm pretty sure I'm not far off.
Introducing the "Nardo Gray" color of vehicle that is taking North Dakota by storm.
Also known as gel gray, chalk grey, wolf gray, matte grey, and even a few other names, depending on what brand of vehicle you are buying.

One woman I know said, "I'm obsessed with this color." That seems a little bit much to me, but I get the attraction. They are sharp in a simple way. The color does stand out without being loud and obnoxious.
Nardo Gray is a medium-toned, non-metallic gray that was originally associated with Audi, but a variation is now found on just about every make and model these days, from Chevy to Ford, and all the rest, from trucks to SUVs to luxury cars.
One thing is for sure, the new and very popular "blackout" North Dakota licence plate sure looks good on this color.
I really think it comes down to how people are always searching for the new, next big thing. Whether it's colors on licence plates or colors of vehicles. People love to have the latest and greatest.
What do you think? Are you into Nardo Gray?
