MISSING: Have You Seen Ashlee & Ashdan?
UPDATE: ROLETTE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CONFIRMED THAT BOTH ASHLEE AND ASHDAN WERE LOCATED AND ARE SAFE. THE POLICE ARE THANKFUL FOR THE PUBLIC'S HELP IN THE MATTER!
Have you seen Ashlee Wiedrich and her son, Ashdan Selzler?
Yesterday, I saw a Facebook post from a woman stating her sister, 32-year-old Ashlee Wiedrich, and Ashlee's eight-year-old son were missing. The last time the two were seen was this past Sunday afternoon. We are coming up on two full days since anyone has heard from Ashlee, and the family is worried - especially because there is a child involved.
So, Ashlee and Ashdan's family, as well as the Rolette County Sheriff's Office are asking that we be on the lookout for the missing pair. Here is the information we have form Facebook posts by Ashlee's sister, Abbey, and the Rolette County Sheriff's Office:
- 8-years old
- 80 pounds
- Sandy blond hair
- Hazel eyes
- He was wearing jeans, a yellow and gray North Face jacket, blue sweater
- 5'2" inches tall
- 115 pounds
- Brown hair
- Brown eyes
- 2014 Chevy Equinox (according to Facebook comments, it should be a dark blue or black color. But I cannot 100% confirm the color at this point.)
- A rear window is missing (no confirmation on which window or if it is patched up).
Abbey Wiedrich has kept an updated Facebook post, about her sister and nephew, on her personal page. The latest update (as of October 20 at 9:30 AM) says that, despite rumors that Ashlee contacted her own mother and she is safe, there is no confirmation from the authorities that Ashdan is safe. Abbey's post says that Ashdan does not live with Ashlee, that he lives with his grandparents (Ashlee's father and step-mother). So, until the authorities and the grandparents know that Ashdan is certainly safe, he and his mom are still missing.
According to Facebook comments the post has been shared in a few states besides North Dakota. So, people are on the lookout. If you do see Ashlee and Ashdan, please contact the Rolette County Sheriff's office at (701) 477-5623.
