When Miranda Lambert surprisingly announced that she had found the love of her life (Brendan McLoughlin) and gotten married, it threw most fans for a loop—and, as might be expected, everyone wanted to know more about the new couple.

However, Lambert is asking that she and her new husband be allowed to enjoy some time to themselves for a bit before allowing the world into their business.

As first reported by Inside Edition, the pair were recently spotted in a New York City airport keeping things on the down-low with baseball hats pulled over their eyes. Although it was obvious they wanted to be left alone, reporters did approach, to which Lambert responded, "If I say something, will you leave, please?"

She added, "The world should mind its own f--king business."

The world should, indeed, but it's hardly surprising that interest is high regarding Lambert's new union. The quickie wedding has many scratching their heads in regards to its speed and remarkably hidden status.

Lambert stunned fans and made headlines around the world when she abruptly announced that she and Mcloughlin were married via social media on Saturday (Feb. 16).

"In honor of Valentine's Day I wanted to share some news," she wrote. "I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for .... me."

The couple reportedly met in November of 2018 while Lambert was appearing on Good Morning America with her trio, Pistol AnniesGMA tapes at Times Square, and Mcloughlin frequently works the area during tapings.
