Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced yesterday he is ordering schools across the state to remain closed for the rest of year.  According to an article in The Hill, Minnesota students will finish the rest semester with "Distance Learning".

Will Governor Doug Burgum of North Dakota be doing the same soon?  All but 10 states across the country have now ordered schools to be done for the rest of the year after Minnesota made the announcement yesterday.  North Dakota is one of those 10.

This announcement comes as the Governor of Minnesota also announced he is planning to ease some of the restrictions on businesses closed in the state.  He plans to put as many as 100,000 Minnesotan's back to work starting as early as next week according to an article from KTTC.

It was asked during the press conference if Governor Walz will cancel the Minnesota State Fair and he did not say definitively.  He did go to say, " "At this point in time, I wouldn't make a definitive call, but I also don't want to give any false hope," Walz said. "I don't know how you'd social distance."
