Meat Loaf “Stable” After On-Stage Collapse

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — Rock vocalist Meat Loaf was hospitalized in Canada Thursday night after collapsing during a performance.

A press release labeled his condition as "stable."

The 68-year-old had canceled two other concerts in recent days because of ill health.

A video of the performance at Edmonton's Jubilee Auditorium shows the singer dropping his microphone and falling to the floor.
