Major Schools Are Interested In North Dakota’s Trey Eaglestaff
University of North Dakota's Trey Eaglestaff entered the college basketball portal a couple of weeks back.
Since then, he has drawn a lot of interest from major college basketball programs from around the country. He will be severely missed by the Fighting Hawks.
What a season Trey Eaglestaff put together for North Dakota in 2024-2025. The Bismarck native and graduate of Bismarck High School scored more points than any other player in a Division 1 NCAA game this season.
According to ESPN, Eaglestaff's 51 points against South Dakota State in the Summit League Tournament is also a Summit League record.
Now, it appears that major college basketball schools are lining up for a shot at Trey.
According to a post on Treysen Eaglestaff's Facebook page, college basketball heavyweights like Michigan, Georgia, LSU, UCLA, Kentucky, Alabama, Colorado, Ole Miss, Washington, Iowa, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Wake Forest, and even the University of Minnesota are all hoping to land Eaglestaff.

Where will Trey Eaglestaff end up in the 2025-2026 season?
One thing is for sure: it will be a major college basketball program. I think it's safe to say that North Dakota's Eaglestaff has aspirations to be showing off his skills in the big dance next season.
Eaglestaff, who is a junior this season, has one year of eligibility remaining and will no doubt make the most of it. Finishing his college career at a major college basketball program will be a great way to wrap it up and hopefully be the springboard to professional opportunities.
We wish Treysen all the best! Way to make us proud in Bismarck!
