Love Game Shows? North Dakota Family To Be On Family Feud
Survey says: This North Dakota family has what it takes to be on Family Feud!
You know the hit TV game show that has been entertaining the whole family for 46 years, that's right it all started back in July 1976. The original host, Richard Dawson, can be remembered by our great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, and now the most recent generations. During the legendary show's history there have only been six hosts: Richard Dawson, Ray Combs, Louie Anderson, Richard Karn, John O'Hurley, and since 2010, Steve Harvey.
Begining Of Time
One family has done such this, watched and been fans of Family Feud since the beginning. So much as to even host their own family "game nights" over the years around said show. Well out of 20,000 other auditioners who entered early at the beginning of 2022 for a coveted spot, the Meyhuber family will have their chance.
Auditions
The thought never crossed their minds to enter until one family member saw a pop-up ad about auditions. After a few discussions, and research, involving looking at what other past contestants had done, the Meyhuber family decided to go against what had been done and do what had NOT been done.
An audition video was required, so a mock "Family Feud stage" was set up in one family member's basement, adding extras like a TV with the show's logo, playing theme music, and even offering a "grand prize" of a toy car. Men were dressed in a suit on top, and boxers on the bottom that were only shown when walking out, and the women were in nice blouses with lounge pants.
The whole process of additional Zoom interviews, then even flying out to the show for the final audition took place.
NOW North Dakota gets to finally see how well this Fargo family knows what "The Survey Says". Tune in on Tuesday, October 18th to cheer on The Meyhuber Family!
