The Newest Business in Lincoln, ND Just Opened Up
Lincoln, North Dakota is Growing
It's well documented that Lincoln, North Dakota, is one of the fastest-growing communities in the state. It recently went ahead of Grafton to become the 16th largest city in North Dakota, according to World Population Review.
Not bad for a city that a lot of people on the eastern side of the state haven't even heard of. Lincoln now boasts a population of 4,529. According to Wikipedia, Lincoln didn't even become a city in the state until 1977, making it one of the newer cities in the state. The man responsible for so much of Lincoln's growth, Lance Hagen, first made me aware of a new strip mall right off Lincoln Road back in November of 2022.
The one knock on the city of Lincoln is the lack of infrastructure and certain amenities. Hagen has been working on changing that with the addition of the "Thunder Strip Mall" to go with the already occupied "Lightning Strip Mall," which is close by. The "Lightning Strip Mall" is occupied by Lightning Fitness, Hometown Credit Union, and Wild One Daycare.
River Liquor was the First to Open
River Liquor has sat alone in the strip mall since November 24, but that has now changed.

Lincoln Now Has a Pharmacy
The Medicine Shoppe is Open
With just about everyone being on some sort of medication these days, this is good news. Now, the citizens of Lincoln, who mostly commute to Bismarck for work, will be able to conveniently pick up their medications close to home.
The Medicine Shoppe Info
This Medicine Shoppe pharmacy is under the same ownership as the Mandan Medicine Shoppe. I spoke with the owner, Kenny Haugen, and he was very excited to bring a pharmacy to Lincoln. The hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. This pharmacy does feature a drive-thru option on the west side of the building. Kenny Haugen is a 2020 NDSU graduate. He told me the Medicine Shoppe in Lincoln will specialize in quality patient care, immunizations, and medication synchronization, much like his Mandan pharmacy.
We welcome The Medicine Shoppe, all the best, and welcome to Lincoln. This will be a nice addition to the community.
