Play Me Some Mountain Music...

Only one country act comes to mind when you say those five words.  And you can't say them without singing the verse.  I'm talking about the legendary band Alabama.

Alabama has been rolling through another tour in 2023, and one North Dakota location has been lucky enough to book a show in 2024.

Believe it or not, but Alabama has been making music since 1969.

Yep, they formed back in 1969 in Fort Payne, Alabama and they've been playing together ever since.

Did you know that Alabama played at the very first ever WE Fest Country Music Festival?

The year was 1983 when Alabama made WE Fest history by heading the very first WE Fest at Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.  Alabama was joined by Tammy Wynette and Merle Haggard.  WE Fest has since emerged as the largest country music festival in the entire country and Alabama was front and center at the very first WE Fest.

Now, Alabama is set to perform in North Dakota and bring decades of hits to our residents in the process.

"Mountain Music", "Feels So Right", "Forever's  As Far As I'll Go" "Roll On", Dixieland Delight", "Angles Among Us", "Song Of The South", "Love In The First Degree", "There's No Way", and soooooo many more.

Alabama will be playing Prairie Knights Casino on Thursday, June 27th, 2024.
