Kirkwood Mall In Bismarck, North Dakota Announces New Tenants
Kirkwood Mall in Bismarck continues to break the trend when it comes to malls.
This mall in the Capital City continues to grow while so many across the country and even in our state continue to die a slow death.
So many shopping malls across the country have turned into ghost towns with numerous vacant stores, or they are closing down altogether.
That is not the case in Bismarck with our Kirkwood Mall. It continues to shine.
Kirkwood Mall is owned and operated by CBL Properties of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The shopping center features more than 85 specialty shops and eateries. Kirkwood Mall is anchored by I. Keating Furniture, JCPenney, Scheels, and Target.
According to a press release from Kirkwood Mall, they are happy to announce several new tenants in the coming days. They include:
Sewing Room - This store will open in the middle of March and will offer sewing and alteration services. It will be located near Essentia Health. With the announcement that we will be losing our JOANN's, this store might fill some of that void.
Nothing Bundt Cakes - This business will be open on Saturdays during the month of March, selling Bundtlets, located in the hall in front of Bath & Body Works. I spoke to the owner of Nothing Bundt Cakes, and she told me they will likely continue to sell Bundtlets after March.
These two businesses join two others that recently opened up at Kirkwood Mall. Those would be Devil Dog Hut, which offers a variety of food options like burgers, hot dogs, pizza, nachos, and more.
The other is GH Hair Studio, which offers a wide variety of hair services and is located by I. Keating Furniture.
