Jordan Davis made his Good Morning America debut on Wednesday (March 20) — an exciting moment for the rising country singer, no doubt, but also for one family member in particular. Davis' grandma is a big GMA fan who was thrilled to watch her grandson's big moment.

"To be honest with ya, in the eyes of my grandmother, I’ve officially made it," Davis says in a press release. "In her eyes, I’m on GMA, I might as well be in the Musicians Hall of Fame over here, you know?”

Davis' grandma — and the rest of the Good Morning America audience — got to watch the up-and-comer perform his recent single "Take It From Me;" press play above to watch the performance. The song is the second single from Davis' debut album, 2018's Home State. It follows his No. 1 debut single "Singles You Up" and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in early March.

Davis is nominated for New Male Artist of the Year at the upcoming 2019 ACM Awards and recently won Best New Country Artist at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Right now, he's touring with Old Dominion on their Make It Sweet Tour, and he'll be out on the road this summer with Rascal Flatts on the country trio's Summer Playlist Tour.
