
Survey Says North Dakota Is One Of The Least Fun States In The U.S.
We have fun, right? North Dakotans don't just sit around on our couches all day staring at the ceiling. We know this, but does everyone else?
Just look at Bismarck; we have a zoo, we have a ski lodge, we have tons of restaurants, a couple of malls, a pretty cool Egyptian-themed movie theater, parks, and events out the wazoo.
Grand Forks is basically one big party, and Minot and Fargo have plenty to do and enjoy.
Before I tell you what I'm about to tell you, just know, it may make you angry. Ok, here goes. A lot of people think North Dakota is not fun.
Feel free to let out a dramatic gasp, as I did.
Not fun?! The nerve.
Now, those severely misled and incorrect people feel they have proof.

A study was done by WalletHub looking at the number of attractions, restaurants, golf courses, marinas, and ideal weather. The goal was to find the most fun states in the country.
Based on these metrics, they placed North Dakota pretty low.
Before I tell you just how unfun they think we are, I'll tell you which state they think is the most fun.
I'm sure you could guess that the source determined the most fun state in the country is none other than California. You got us there, I mean, who can compete with Disneyland?
Florida came in second. Again, Disney World.
Nevada, Illinois, and New York round out the top 5 as the most fun states.

As for North Dakota, get ready to roll your eyes. The source says we're one of the least fun states, coming in at number 40 on the list.
West Virginia, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Delaware, and Arkansas are all in the bottom five.
