We have delicious pizza joints, tons of places for a juicy burger, and several authentic Mexican spots that will have your mouth watering. We have so many wonderful food options in Bismarck that it's hard to choose where to go.

Even though we have a wide range of cuisine here in Bismarck, many have said we're missing something. Good news! A new Mediterranean restaurant is coming to town, and people are bursting with excitement.

According to a post on Bismarck's People Reporting News, the restaurant is called Habibi, and it will open soon in south Bismarck.

If you've never tried Mediterranean food, here's what you can expect.

According to Bonapita.com, as you could assume, Mediterranean food has roots near the Mediterranean Sea. Think places like Greece, Spain, Italy, Morocco, Israel, and Turkey.

The food is known for being a healthier cuisine. It is usually packed full of olive oil, fruit, veggies, legumes, and herbs.

You have probably heard of hummus, Greek salads, Gyros, Mediterranean Salmon, and so on and so forth. Those are some Mediterranean foods.

Habibi Gyros & Bowls will be located at 625 S Washington, by ND Nails, in the former El Coqui Bakery location. If you have been longing for a break from the norm, you might want to give Habibi a try.

As far as opening dates and hours of operation go, we haven't gotten that information just yet. We haven't seen a Facebook page or website for this new business just yet. Check back for updates!
