This came from a co-worker of mine - I had no idea this intersection had changed

If you are humming along Tyler Parkway heading towards Century, you'll come across a new addition to the intersection that has irked several Bismarck motorists. I live about a mile away, but I don't travel too close to this area, however, I remember in the past that there were a couple of times I saw other people almost get into an accident.

The lights went up about a couple of months ago

A busy intersection that once just had stop signs now brings people to a halt ( of more than just a second or two ) - Here is a perfect argument - vented on Facebook -  "I think a 4 way stop would have been sufficient and truthfully after living here 38 years and driving that road daily I never had an issue until now. Now you’re gonna have traffic backed up for half a mile during traffic rushes because you have two stop lights 200 yards apart"

Pouring down Century...

I parked over at that little park, right next to this intersection - and watched the steady flow approaching the new light there at Tyler Parkway, and I can understand the frustration - what just used to be almost "a given" that you would glide on through, is now nearly a "for sure" stop - and like the above person mentioned, so close to yet another stop light. So like everything else in life, you can't please everybody - and if this proves to be a safer intersection, then it's 100% worth it.
